Courier Services Explained

What Is a Courier Service in Johannesburg?

A plain-language explanation of how courier delivery works across Johannesburg and Gauteng — plus what you can send and who it suits.

The short answer for Johannesburg customers

An express courier service in Johannesburg is a premium time-slot delivery solution that guarantees parcels, documents, and freight arrive within a booked delivery window — Morning (8am-12pm), Afternoon (12pm-5pm), or 3-Hour Express. Unlike standard courier services where delivery times are estimates, express couriers operate on a guaranteed time-slot model backed by an on-time service guarantee: if the delivery misses the booked window, it's free. Express courier services in Johannesburg leverage the city's extensive freeway network (N1, N3, M1, N12, R24) to deliver across all five metro regions within tight time windows, with real-time GPS tracking, digital proof of delivery, and dedicated non-stop routing.
